Flash in Template Won’t Display

Thanks in advance for any help! I hope is a simple problem – I’ve tried and tried for days and am completely stumped. I’m trying to modify one of my templates to include a flash movie. Here’s the page:

I’ve added the movie to the body of a template I called home3.php. The Flash movie works fine in an html document, but won’t display in WordPress. The SWF is in the same directory as the theme file. I tried a relative and an absolute path without any luck. I’ve searched the forums and have seen mention of a plugin called Kimili, but that seems to be for inserting Flash into posts, rather than theme files. If I’m adding the standard html Flash gives me, checked the file paths, why doesn’t this work?
