flash image loader frozen

  • when choosing add media > add an image the flash window opens up half way down the page and is stuck there. it does not scroll. the main window in the background will scroll but the flash window does not move its place staying cutoff about half way down the browser window. it can be typed into but ultimately it can only be “x” out. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    this is what has been done so far:
    -cleared out browser cache
    -ran flash plugin update
    -rebooted system
    browser is ie7 7.0.5730.11
