Files in Updraftplus are being flagged as a critical security issue.

I contacted UpdraftPlus about this. This is their response:

“These are files included in every install of UpdraftPLus so should not be a cause for concern.”

The plugin has 3 million users. Can this be resolved?

    Thanks!

    Hello @epppppp

    You can approve those files:

Click the ‘Approve’ button below the file’s name in the scan results page:

WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Security by CleanTalk —> Malware Scanner tab.

Also, you can send the files to us for analysis:
    https://cleantalk.org/help/files-analysis

    Did it help?

    Thank you.

Thank you! The “how to” graphics are outdated but I found a “send for analysis” link in a dropdown list. I clicked “send” twice but did not get any indication that the operation completed.

    Thanks.

    Please, re-activate the plugin:
? WordPress Admin Page —> Plugins —> Installed plugins —> Security by CleanTalk —> Deactivate and Activate again

Is it possible to send the files for analysis now?

Also, could you send us your webserver error log? It could be found in your hosting account.
You can send the log either via email:
    [email protected]
    Or via a private ticket:
