Flag missing records in XML instead of delete

    We’ve build several high-end websites (like werkenbijmno.nl and welzijnbloemendaal.nl with the help from the great plugin WP All Import v3, and we are wondering how to deal with a specific wish of two of our clients.

    For SEO-reasons two of our clients asked us to change the way how we deal with missing records from the XML-feed they are offering.
    At this moment we are synchronizing there XL-feeds every hour and delete the missing records. The disadvantage of this methode is that we are creating much dead 404 links… the ideal situation would be to flag the missing post with an attribute of some kind which we can use for example to show the page but with an javascript alert ‘this job / activity is closed, interested in others, click here..’

    Is it posible to change the way WP All Import handles missing records?
