    Hello,
I am developing a site on localhost (WAMP 3, MySQL 5.7.13) and tried to repair/optise the installation before migrating to live server. Received the following error messages with suggestion to post on the forum for help (I sure need it bad!). Can someone please tell me what to do to fix the problems?
Error Messages: (failed to repair table…)
wp_usermeta: 10 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly
wp_posts: 9 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly
wp_options: 10 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly
wp_postmeta: 9 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly
wp_terms: 2 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly
wp_term_taxonomy: 7 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly
wp_term_relationships: 8 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly
    Thanks,
    Nikhil

  • How did you try to repair the table? Did you use the phpMyAdmin tool? or a WordPress plugin?

I first tried wp-repair (wp-admin/maint/repair.php) and got the report I posted. Then I tried phpMyadmin but could not solve the problem.
After posting I searched some more and used WP-sweep/garbage collector plugins to get over the problem. Database tables from deleted plugins seems to be causing the problem.
    Appreciate your interest, still.
    Thanks.
