I have followed the tutorial for Adding a salary field for WP jobs Manager. This is because WP Job Manager does not include a salary field by default.
the Salary field is showing on the job page but there is error in the google structured data testing tool . the tool is showing 1 WARNING on baseSalary. i have added the ‘_job_salary‘ in functions.php.
I know it’s not required to have the baseSalary fixed but i want to fix the problem because the salary of the job is available.
any help appreciated

Hi – I followed the guide and get the salary field. However, it’s not creating the baseSalary structured data. I’m not sure where to start on that one!

Thanks, but no it doesn’t. On your page https://wpjobmanager.com/document/fixing-structured-data-issues/ it says “All future jobs, however, should include the baseSalary data, provided a salary is actually entered during job submission.”

But they don’t. I have added salary data but there’s no baseSalary data in the structured data.

Hi @jenhooks,

I’ve also followed the instructions to add the Salary field. I have already added a Salary field to admin area using WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin.

I’m finding that following the instructions above, still gives a warning for missing baseSalary even though there is a salary entered into the field.

Any updates?

@welshlamb10 here’s some example code, just add this to your child theme’s?functions.php?file (omit the <?php, there only needs to be one at the top of the?functions.php?file),? or using the Code Snippets plugin.
