Fixing permalinks (and posts)

  • I’m using a theme by one.com called “The Anderson Family” and so far it’s working good.

    However, there is one thing:

    When I make a post, I have to do it in this box called “Travel”, see: https://prntscr.com/ftlsag

    I changed the name in the “Pages” from “Travel” to “Articles” and it shows the correct name (Articles) in my menu, however in the permalinks it still says /travels/name

    Is there any way for me to fix this so it’s called “articles” instead?

  • “Travel” seems to be a custom post type, the theme (and possibly some plugin) seems to be supporting this.
    I guess it would be possible to change the presentation part, but one would need access to the code for that.
    Before you start tinkering with the code, check what license it has. Are you allowed to change things?
