  • This is most likely due to an email authentication issue.

When using SMTP mail you need to authenticate – there has to be a real email address that the emails are coming from on your local WordPress server configuration.

If you use an email adress like [email protected] or [email protected] the mail may not send because gmail.com or yahoo.com are not domains handled by your mail server.

So basically i need to fix this issue in the cpanel of our hosting? I’m not using any SMTP plugins

This is not something you would normally tackle via cPanel. Typically you would start by looking at your Hosting Providers documentation on email authentication and then contact them if necessary.
