    Hi Matthew,

that’s strange… It looks like the calculation of the width for the fixed column is off a little bit.
Unfortunately, I have no idea why this happens ?? I’m not that familiar with the internal JS code for the FixedColumns add-on. Sorry…

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

Its weird because it cuts it of then it doesn’t cut it off or it will automatically adjust the width of every column once I sort the data in a column.

I was really hoping to use this plugin but I guess I’ll have to make do without it.

    Thank you,
    Matthew

    Tobias,

After searching questions other users have had in the past here in the support forums, lol… I found the best solution to fix the issue.

The link below shows a recommendation you offered to another user, which I then applied to my own table and it worked out perfectly. Before it would hide a column and would not respond properly to mobile devices as the numbers would get crunched together.

With the code you provided, the column is no longer hidden and all the rest of the columns are easily spaced apart and it responds to mobile devices without any problems whatsoever.

Just wanted to let you know.

    Hi Matthew,

ah, yes. I remember that solution now. Great to hear that you found this and that it worked! The handling of the width of table columns is rather tricky in web browsers, so workarounds like this are sometimes necessary.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
