Fixed? Sticky? Icons should stay at the top end not scroll along

    The icons are supposed to be at the top right corner and stay there. When scrolling they should still stay at the top and not join when scrolling down.

    I have tried to do this in ultimate-social-media-icons/css/sfsi-style.css
    with: 

    .sfsi_wicons {
    margin-bottom: 30px;
    position: relative;
    padding-top: 5px;
}

    …changing ‘relative’ to ‘sticky’, but this didn’t work.

    How should I do this to get it done?

    The feature to have the icons “stick” on your web pages is only available in the premium plugin.

    It has many other fancy features too ??

    Another idea: do you have the opportunity to place them via shortcode? That makes them sticky too.

    I do not need other features, but just this. What will it cost to get that?

    The current domain is temporary, the site will move to it’s own (different) domain when done. Will I be able to move this extra feature along then?

    You’ll get all features (and I’m sure some of the other features you’ll find useful too) as part of https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/usm-premium/ which states the price also (it’s very affordable). It also includes support, so we can guide you to place the shortcode as well. Yes, moving domains is not an issue.

    Dear @socialdude

    In your readme.txt (See screenshot here) you are saying that:

    The free social media plugin includes the following features:
    (…)
    – Make your social media icons ‘float’ or ‘sticky’

    So, I do find it strange that you demand me to buy the premium, for a single feature that you have announced to be included in the free version.

    And honestly, I am inclined to give a grand donation for a well made plugin. And I will do so, but after your promise has been made reality, not before.

    Thanks for pointing to this. We do have the feature to make icons stick in the free plugin also, under question 6, see here https://www.screencast.com/t/AXXohSoF, however I understood you placed the icons with option “Define location on the page”, is that right?

    I have tried to make them sticky with both options, but none of them worked. That is why I have started this thread and asked.

    How did you place the icons? I.e. what option did you pick under question 3?

    Under Question 3:
    Define the location on the page – Top right

    Under Question 6:
    Sticky icons
    Make icons stick ? – YES

    Yes, the sticky options only pertain to the placement options mentioned under question 6, i.e. widget and shortcode.

    You can just try it out. Then it will be sticky as mentioned under question 6.
