fixed post on my homepage?

  • Hi,

    I have the newave theme and I’d like a way of introducing myself on my homepage, for instance in a post that just stays on my homepage. Now, everytime I post something the latest post shows up on my homepage, I’d like the first thing you see to be a short entry about who I am and why I have this blog. Is there a way to do this?

  • in the wp-admin click on settings, then reading.

    click the ‘static page’ option and then select the page that you have written and want to be the front page

    think it has to be written as a page not a post though
