Fixed my photo library

I was loading 1-4MB images from iPhoto directly into WP. My image library slowed to a halt. Smush compressed the giant images and allowed my library to function again. For free! This is a great example of the spirit of the WP community and it saved me from a life of continued damnation and flames. Well, almost.
