• I was wondering how one would have fixed locations for thumbnails on their homepage. For instance https://www.cracked.com/ has those 6 thumbnails on top always in that position. I would like something similar but on the just 3 or so next to each other horizontally.
Also how would I have a giant rectangle thumbnail to give a paragraphs worth or so of the most recent blog post on my homepage? This would update with each new blog post and allow readers to view a portion of the latest post then decide if they want to read more. Maybe possibly on a slider showing multiple latest posts?

Will I need to know coding to pull this off? If so then I guess I have reading to do.

  • I think the placement and number of the thumbnail may be decided by your theme developers. If you want to change the deign, you need to do some coding. Personally, I suggest you to contact the theme designer.

Ah ok. Well guess that’s the root I must take. Still trying to find a solution if there is one besides advance coding. Would just like a static row of thumbnails with some text on the homepage that each link to a separate page.
