• Loving the cover block that you could scroll once you choose the fixed image.
But, when scrolling, the image will scroll bottom to top.
How do you make the image scroll top to bottom?
(Never tried the CSS because lack of knowledge.)
    Waiting eagerly for a reply.
    Thank you.

  • I’m glad you like the position:fixed (Fixed background) effect on the Cover block! It’s one of my favorites too. Basically what that does is make the image fill the window size. So as the Cover block passes over the image during scrolling, it only reveals that part of the image. I’m not sure how that would work reversing the scroll because it operates as a masking effect.

    <a href="https://

    scroll</blockquote><script async src=”//s.imgur.com/min/embed.js” charset=”utf-8″></script>”>scroll

So this is the image of the first of two cover block.
Both as set as a fixed image and should scroll.
the first image starts from the upper part of the image going down.
The second image goes the other way. (I can’t show you because of the scroll)

I would like to add that I too like the idea of having the capability to fix some background images but it seems to be browser dependent. On a test site, I have one or two of them. The Cover block background does not stay fixed in Firefox but it works as expected in MS Edge or Chrome. Another block with fixed background created by using Advanced WordPress Backgrounds plugin works in both browsers. I thought I found a fix, but, alas! If you want to see:
