fixed categories many blogs

  • I want to create many blogs that have the same categories.I don’t want to manually set up the categories for each blog. What is the best way to do this? Is there a way to insert the categories in a template so that every time I set up a blog it will have those cats?

  • Aloha,

    Assuming that all the blogs are clean (no posts) then you should be able to set up the cats you want on one blog and export the data from the ‘categories’ table and re-import it into the rest of the blogs. You would need some tool like phpMyAdmin to do this.
