    Hi,
    first thanks for this theme.
In my site , I’ve made a “category page” and post videos inside.
then I have the second page to browse more videos, and it redirects me to an invalid page.
    my site :
    https://www.guitarist.co.il/beginners/

may scroll down to the second page to see the problem.
    thanks for the help.

    Hello Pluplik.

Typically, you wouldn’t have to “make” a category page.

Rather, you’d add the category, assign it to the post(s), and they’d “automatically” appear using the index.php template on a URL like this…

    https://www.guitarist.co.il/category/beginners/

Given that, can you please explain what you mean by a “I’ve made a ‘category page?'”

Also, please turn off ALL plugins to ensure that your issue is exclusive to the theme.

Truly hope we can get you sorted out.

    Hi. Thanks for the response.
    My goal is like this:
I want that certain video posts will appear in certain pages.
For example : posting a video post that should be on a beginner level page but not on the advanced level page.
So ive made a category pages, then just tick the post on the right-page and it redirect it automatically.
All works great! Except the issue that I mentioned.
To be short , I need to categorize my posts.
I dont mind if posts will appear in the home page, I need just on the guitar learning page.
Its an online guitar lesson website as you can see, and making pages won’t work because it will show all the video posts everywhere.

Thanks alot Its really important to me. Hope to find this a fix. Its the last problem I think to run my site with this theme.

I think you may be over-solving it and would recommend you use the built-in WordPress categories.

    1) Go to the categories editor and create categories for Beginner, Intermediate, and Insane…

    https://www.guitarist.co.il/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=category

    2) Go to the post editor, and select the “category/ies” you want it to be in (e.g. check the box for Beginner, but not Advanced)…

    https://www.guitarist.co.il/wp-admin/post.php?post=653&action=edit

    3) Go to the category page to see just posts from that category…

e.g. https://www.guitarist.co.il/category/beginner (or beginners depending on your category slug)

This I did, and as I mentioned before, this is working great .
But my problem is when I add more than 6 video posts, It makes automatically a second page, which lead to an invalid page. Only occur on category pages.
Thanks for the help, really appreciate it!

This doesn’t look like an “out-of-the-box” category page URL…

    https://www.guitarist.co.il/beginners/

    It should look like this…

    https://www.guitarist.co.il/category/beginners/

How are you removing the category slug?

Mm.. well I don’t know really how.
Tried to disable all my plugins and still no results.
    My permalinks are: /%category%/%postname%/
Tried to make a simple permalinks. No luck as well.
Im in deep trouble with this :\

    Hi.
    I fixed it!
on the permalinks page – just needed to add on the category base- instead of a dot , just add something – so I wrote category instead of the dot, and it worked!
thanks alot for the help .
    pew….
