The plugin uses the site name in the _postmeta database, for example
    /var/www/html/SITE_NAME/wp-content/ew_backup/2021/05/file.jpg
This is not acceptable since the path and site name may differ in the test environment and different hosting!
    Fix the problem!
    Thank!

are we exposed to security risks?

    Hello,

This does not cause any security risk or any other problems.

During site migration, the paths to the files saved in the database should be changed along with the change of domain. I recommend the Better Search Replace plugin.

thank you for reassuring us, so if I understood correctly I do not watermark my local site, I wait I put it online then I apply the watermark in bulk. is not it ? it’s a good idea, isn’t it? while waiting for a more internal trick to be found

    Hello,

There is no need to wait until you go online. You can watermark your local site and then change the paths to the files during the site migration, f.e. using the plugin mentioned above.
