Fix needed for smooth page transitions

    After 2 years of enduring this issue (along with countless others) I would like to finally get to the bottom of it!

    The issue is the highly annoying ‘white flash’ between page loads in Internet Explorer & Chrome (latest versions). Safari is great in transitioning between pages smoothly and not re-loading the background image, logo or menu items – only the actual page content.

    Can someone confirm that this is an issue with the way IE & Chrome display a WordPress website? I have viewed many, many websites in the latest versions of ALL browsers where the background image, logo, menu items etc. remain static and ONLY the text/images on the actual page transition smoothly.

    I have tried various fixes as suggested in previous threads about this issue, but nothing works!

    I am even happy to pay someone to fix the problem if they can or know someone who can!!
