    Hello there,

While trying to solve this console error, I found your plugin: Loading the Google Maps JavaScript API without a callback is not supported. I have about 90 maps on my website (I own a travel agency, so I need many of them to display trips). I’m concerned the error is hurting my visibility in Google searches.

I have embedded ‘Google My Maps‘ (not Google Maps) as you can see here: https://fmvy9onpv2-staging.onrocket.site/mexico-city/#expenses – I have embedded the maps by using the iframe each map provides. The iframe doesn’t require an API.?

I installed your plugin in my staging website and added my API, but the error still shows in the console. Is there anything else I could do to solve this error? I will appreciate your help.

    Thank you in advance,

    He Josue,

It looks like there is some conflicts with the plugin Perfmatters. To prevent the conflict go to Perfmatters plugin setting and add “rgmkInitGoogleMaps” in “Exclude from Delay” option. For more details how to exclude script from delay loading, check here https://perfmatters.io/docs/javascript-console-errors/

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hi Stiofan,

Thank you for your answer. I also thought that it had something to do with Delay Javascript, and I excluded “rgmkInitGoogleMaps” from Delay Javascript in Settings – Perfmatters – Assets – Excluded from delay.

I cleared the cache, but the error is still there: https://fmvy9onpv2-staging.onrocket.site/mexico-city/#expenses. It may have something to do with my use of Google My Maps (not Google Maps)? I am using the iframe directly from Google.

I have looked into this more and honestly it looks like a bug with google. If i create a custom map, then use their embed code on a blank webpage i see the same error. I can’t find any further info on it. I reported it as feedback to google but i could not find a way to report a bug in that specific system.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
