Fix Duplicate meta descriptions

    for some of tags and cats i set description and title in yoast box

    how can i set in yoast , what i type in the SEO title box comes + page numbers

    like i set download movie (in seo title box ) + page number = download movie page 5 of 15

    if i dont sat description in tag page, the description shows in google comes by google bots

    but i did use this :
    %%term_description%% %%page%%

    and in description just show page X of X
    How can i fix this ? i dont want be Duplicate

    thanks but all of them should be doing by my self ?
    i have more than 1500 tags ,and they can make Duplicate

    its not other way ?

    While the paginated archives may cause the duplicate content issue and you may see the notice in your Google search console property, you can safely ignore this which is perfectly normal. Google now handle the paginated archives automatically and eventually Google will fix the issue in their Google search console to not show the duplicate meta description issue for paginated archives.

    I am also getting similar issues with my site, I am seeing duplicate metas for indexed categories, and for paginated comments.

    After reading many relevant articles and fixes, I am trying the following settings in my yoast plugin:

    I changed my Homepage title to:

    %%title%% %%page%%

    Added %%page%% at the end of the description paragraph.

    In Taxonomies I added the following in the site title box:

    %%title%% %%page%%

    And the following to the description box:

    %%excerpt%% %%page%%

    Please let us know if the above settings are correct or not.
