Five stars, NOT enough! Stellar support, great team with a great product

  • What can I say after a good night’s sleep? I was creating my first website, and I needed an eCommerce solution. I looked at WooCommerce and was immediately turned off by the lack of WordPress integration between memberships and subscriptions. I then looked up Easy Digital Download to see if they had memberships and subscription services. They don’t. They also recommended another plugin for content restriction.

    I was frustrated that they didn’t offer memberships with subscriptions out of the box – or plugin, in this case, so I slept on it. In the morning, I remembered reading Building Web Apps with WordPress – What a difference a good night’s sleep makes. I decided to peruse the book for anything on eCommerce, hoping to find something useful. BINGO! One of the co-authors built an eCommerce ecosystem that integrates well with WordPress and offers memberships and subscriptions into a single plugin solution; PERFECT! I immediately downloaded the plugin and test-drove it. I found the WordPress integration refreshing. For example, the plugin is incorporated in WordPress’s Dashboard, User and Theme sections. Another plus is the seamless integration with Stripe. My stripe account was incorporated into the plugin with a few mouse clicks. Setting up memberships and subscription levels is easy and intuitive, too. Redirecting members to my home page after login was a breeze because they have posted an article on how to do it. Other than styling some of the eCommerce elements and blocks, I was able to set this up without any additional cost! HUGE!

    Last but not least is the team that supports the application. Everyone I interacted with was responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and offered solutions where I got stuck. What a first-rate, hard-working group of people. Be proud of your hard work because it shows in many ways!
