fitting in a widget

I installed WordPress Simple Currency Exchange Converter plugin and want to display it in a sidebar widget.
The sidebar admits widgets not wider than 290px. So far I’ve resized the CSS and that worked fine.
The problem comes with both different currencies scrolls width. I cannot find anywhere to resize those.
