Fishy error message about plugin update

Thanks, I suspected as much. Though it is showing only on the redirection plugin settings page…. wonder what’s the deal.

I don’t know why that would be, but notifications from other plugins often appear in places they shouldn’t.

Do you have a Google sitemap generator on your site? That URL leads to a 404 so I can’t see whether it is legitimate or not.

And I deactivated the same to check…. the error message disappeared.

Ok thanks, so it seems it’s coming from that plugin. It’s an odd message and a strange way of doing an upgrade so it might be worth contacting the plugin owner to check.
