    Great plugin you have. Unfortunately there is after the last update a problem with the email that is sent after we confirm the reservation in wordpress. The confirmation email is nog sent. The email system works fine, because the first mail (your request is sent to our restaurant) is sent to the client and the restaurant. Even the email which we can sent as a extra notification (link underneauth the emailadress of the client) is being sent.

    Before the update is worked just fine.

    Can you tell us what is going wrong?

    Hi dutchpuppet,

    Sorry to hear you’re having some trouble with the plugin. We ran some tests in a few of our development environments and the email notifications are definitely being sent when a booking is switched to “Confirmed”. Are you making sure to check the “Send notifications” box on the booking edit screen?

    If you are and your customers are still not receiving the confirmation email, the most likely problem is the content of the confirmation email is being flagged up as “spammy” and the email is getting blocked. I’d try removing links or adjusting the content to see if that helps. You can also look into using a plugin like WP Mail SMTP to route your emails via your real external email server, so they don’t appear to be coming from an auto mailer.

    Thanx for your reply. I think it was the sent confirmationbox which wasn’t checked on. Is it possible to make it always checked on? Otherwise it is forgotten and then the customer doesn’t know that the reservation is confirmed.
