    Dear @eempptw ,

    Thanks for the log file.

Could you make the Number of Rows to Backup At Once 1000 instead of 10.000, save the changes and perform the backup again?
The mentioned option can be found from the plugin settings. https://prnt.sc/103stnv

Let us know how it goes.

    Hi Support,

No unfortunately it didn’t work. I changed it to 1000 (see link) but it still hanged at about 48% and then showed “failed”.

    Hi,
Is there anything else that I can try?

    Dear @eempptw ,

Thank you for sending the log along to us.

Could you please decrease it a bit more, like make it 500, and also increase the Request Frequency from the settings? Then save it and try another backup please.

    (@eempptw)

    Hi,
I’ve made 2 more attempts. first time adjust to 500 and increased request frequency to 7sec but failed. 2nd try I adjusted to 300 and increased to 10sec but also failed.

do you think it’s something to do with my site backend that I should check with my hosting company instead? I’m using Bluehost.

    Dear @eempptw ,

Thank you for the log again.

The PHP execution time is 30 at the moment. Since backup is a complex process, that may not be enough to complete the process successfully.

So, could you increase the execution time from your hosting and then try another backup?

    (@eempptw)

    Hi,
Checked with my hosting company and you’re right default execution time is 30.
How much do you suggest I should change this to before trying this again?

    Thread Starter eempptw

    (@eempptw)

    Hi,
I changed it to 60 and 90sec but still failed.
    here’s the log at 90sec

please let me know if you think I should change it to even longer?
    thanks

any suggestions on what else I can try?

    Dear @eempptw ,

    Sorry for the delayed response.

We see you changed the Max Execution time to 90.
Could you try the following configuration and let us know how the backup goes?

    Max execution time ? 90
Number of rows to backup: 1000
    Request frequency: 2

The last two can be changed from the plugin settings.

    Hi,
I’ve just tried it again per request and failed.

Do you think it might be something related to my hosting account?
    Very odd.
