    Hi,

I have an SSL cert installed on my site, and I am using the plugin Really Simple SSL.

The issue that I have is that on the first load of the website https://www.beautyharbourclinic.com/store the site is not displaying in https, if I click any buttons and navigate between the pages, the rest of the site will be in https, including if I navigate back to the index page.

How can I get the initial load of the website to also show https content without having to navigate between other pages

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

if the site doesn’t redirect to https:// on the first visit it is likely that there’s no redirect to https:// configured in the plugin settings. Can you check under ‘Settings->SSL->Settings’ if one of the redirect options (Javascript, WordPress 301 or .htaccess) is enabled? Once a redirect has been enabled the site should redirect to https:// on the first visit as well. For more information about the different redirect options see https://really-simple-ssl.com/knowledge-base/redirect-https-not-working/.

If you do have configured a redirect but still experience issues let me know so we can troubleshoot the issue.

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for your help, in my settings I had WordPress 301 redirects active but not javascript. After enabling the Javascript redirect. my site now initially loads as https.

    Thanks
