First Page Messed Up

I could not find this situation posted and apologize if it is already here on the forum.

I changed themes on my blog and now the first page is messed up.. everything below the first post on page 1 is all shifted to the right. The subsequent pages appear to be fine. Does anybody know why this would happen or how I can fix it?
