• I’ve tested a lot of GDPR cookie plugins. Most only show the acceptance but don’t block anything (so cookies are still placed). This plugin just works out of the box.

At least it blocks my embedded twitter, analytics, youtube and vimeo embeds.

There are paid plugins that seem to do this as well, but this one is free.

I think the design of the banner could be a bit different, but that’s also personal taste (and it’s clear for the user).

A few remarks. It would be nice:
    – to exclude cookies for which permission is not needed (for example analytics with anonymous ip).
    – to excluded embedded media that doesn’t place cookies (youtube-nocookie).
    – it would be nice of the bar fills the complete height (or give it a grey color) of the embedded video that is blocked.

Another thing is that maybe css could be added in the admin, to customize button and text-styling (although I can override things within style.css).

    Hi @kasperkamperman,
you can also exclude the Analytics script if you can touch the output code directly. In faqs you can find a simple “text” to include between <script> to exclude it.

As regards the styling, it’s actually pretty customizable. However the transparency effect limits some tweaking, but i’ve in plan to extend its customizability soon ??
