    Hello,

we use ‘User Extra Fields’ (https://codecanyon.net/item/user-extra-fields/12949844) plugin to gather some additional information on registration.

The form overrides the WordPress standard fields (eg ‘First Name’ is sent to ‘First Name’).

However, even though these are being send to standard WordPress user fields, they will not appear in the BNFW New Registration (for Admin) email.

Do you have any advice on getting this to work? It would be a bonus if we could have all the extra fields in the email, but just the standard WordPress “First Name” and “Last Name” would do.

    Many Thanks

    Hi @phirefly,
    Thanks for your message.

I’ve seen this before with BNFW and another plugin and is most likely because the custom fields are being saved after WordPress saves the initial user details, on which BNFW sends out a notification.

I don’t think it’s possible to send out the notification later than this at this point i the registration process so the only thing I can suggest is to use a different notification which might be able to contain the information your require.

    Hope this helps a bit.

    Thanks,
    Jack

Massive thanks for the info Jack – can you think of any other notification I could tweak that could be used to send user information ASAP after the user registers?

    Hi @phirefly,
You can send some information via the user shortcodes in the New User – Post-registration Email notification if it helps?

    Thanks,
    Jack
