In looking at the source code of the current signup form on the site, it looks like you may be using a different plugin than the MailChimp List Subscribe Form. Can you confirm that in the plugins area of wp-admin that you’re using the plugin titled “MailChimp”? If not, the best bet would be to reach out to the support forum specific to that plugin, as we’d be a bit limited on what we’d able to help with from our end unfortunately.
If you’ve switched away from our plugin since your post and are still looking to troubleshoot the placeholder issue you’re having with our plugin, can you elaborate a bit on what changes to the plugin code you’ve made to add your placeholders? If you’re able to post the edited chunk of code, that’d be great!
