    Since updating the plugin, the first time you go through the login flow, the alert pops up saying “Failed to load Google reCAPTCHA. Please check your internet connection and reload this page.”

    The Captcha has loaded and accepted I’m not a robot but it always happens. If I log out and try again, the same thing happens. Fails the first time.

    Dismissing the alert and clicking login again without doing anything else, the process goes through fine and I’m logged in.

    Like I say, this only started 5 days ago when the plugin got updated.

    My site doesn’t have logins and accounts for visitors, just myself and writers.

    This happens on all browsers (tried IE11, Edge, Chrome, Firefox and Safari) on different connections and different devices.

    Same here. Problem corrects itself when you click OK on the popup message and try to send the form again. However doesn’t seem much reliable to the end user if it behaves the same way… Solution?

    Has there ever been a solution or patch for this?… I have a clean WP install with absolutely no plugins but this one running and I am getting the same error. I’ve seen numerous post regarding the issue but no solutions except to turn it off?

    I saw this same problem when I used {captcha} shortcode.
    The issue seems fixed when I entered the shortcode as described in the plugin settings:
    “Admin->Google Captcha” (far righthand column).

    Add Google Captcha to your posts or pages using the following shortcode:
    [bws_google_captcha]

    Of course I enter [bws_google_captcha] shortcode – is there any other? Using this shortcode causes the problems described so I don’t see this issue resolved as labeled in the thread…
