First Letter Cut off in “Show Content” excepts

  • Hi, my Drop Cap Automation stopped working (possibly due to new update/Gutenberg) so I manually added the shortcode to the posts.

    The first letter (letter within the shortcode) is now cut off on Show Content excerpts in my featured post widgets.

    I don’t know why the automation stopped working. It was working fine yesterday.

    I know you don’t keep up with this plugin anymore, but I’d certainly appreciate some help!
