First & Last Name not being sent to Mailchimp

After doing some tests on my Registration Page by signing up as fake users, I realised that only the email address of those users were being synced to mailchimp, the name fields were completely empty.

So I looked at one of those users in WordPress, I noticed that the First and last name were under “Customer billing address” but not “Customer shipping address.”

So under “Customer shipping address” there is a button for “Copy from billing address” which i pressed to populate the “Customer shipping address” name fields, then I hit the “Update User” button at the bottom of the page.

After doing this I went back to mailchimp and checked the user in the list and lo and behold, the user now has it’s name fields populated.

So my question is this, does this plugin only sync shipping data?

I have actually “Disable Shipping & Shipping Calculations” in the Woo-commerce settings as I only sell virtual products.

What can I do?
