First install – double site title

    Hello, I just installed and set up Rank Math.

    I noticed that sitetitle is displayed double and I cannot figure out why.

    I set it properly, one time. I checked, everywhere is one time. Yet, in post is diplayed double.

    There is a second set of meta tags on your site, and that is adding the incorrect title. Please follow this guide to figure out which plugin or theme is adding the second set of meta tags: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

    Once you figure out which plugin is adding the duplicate meta tags, you can disable them from its settings.

    Even with all plugins deactivated, the title is still double. It could be manually added to the theme? I will try to edit files and see today.

    The most likely culprit of this is the theme you are using and you can likely find the code that is causing this inside the header.php file of your theme.

    Yep! php bloginfo(‘name’); was displaying a second title.
