I think it looks like the first image is not show because the slideshow moves to the next slide before the first slide is completely loaded and visible.

This issue will be fixed in version 2.2.12, as the slideshow will then wait for the first image to be visible before moving to the next slide.

1.one of the slides is only text, with no images,

I’m sorry, you’re right. The first image is not showing up because of a JavaScript error on your page. The error message is:

Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'tipsy'

It’s a script on your page that’s causing the error, but I’m not sure what puts it there. You could if it’s caused by a plugin by disabling them one by one until the first image of the slideshow shows correctly. Otherwise it should be in your theme.

What exactly do you mean by jQuery loading?

    That’s great to hear!

The jQuery library doesn’t seem to be loaded twice, the jQuery files on your website are all different parts of the jQuery library.

    hello stefan,
the problem of first image is back, after i did upgrade,
    seo

I had this problem too. I was able to fix it by going into my Theme Options and unchecking the “Open image links in a lightbox” option.
