    Hello there,
we use your WordPress Plugin for tinyPNG very often. Now there’s a question… isn’t it quite suboptimal to firstly create all the WP images and THEN compress it? In our case, It takes a very long time to create an image in 7 specific dimensions AND afterwards compress it. Is it possible to compress only the uploaded, original image and then let WP create the different dimensions of it?
    What do you think?

    Best regards,

    Albert

    Hi Albert,

You also sent this question to our support address, but I will answer it again for other readers.

If we would compress first and let WordPress resize the compressed image, it would save it again with it’s own compression. This will lose the TinyPNG compression on the resized images.

Thanks. Yeah, I think it’s good to know that.
