If I’m mailing envelopes that are non-machinable, will this give me accurate rates for first class mail? Thank you!

The plugin requests the USPS API for machinable prices. Non-machinable mailings might be subject to USPS surcharges.

    Thank you Dan.
One more question: First-class retail package service to zone 8 per USPS website for 7 ounces is $5.00. Your app gives a quote of $3.92. Is this a discounted rate? If so, where do I find this rate on the USPS website?

If these rates are the commercial rates, do I qualify when printing shipping labels from the WooCommerce Shipping and Tax plug-in? Do I need something like Stamps.com to qualify? I have registered with USPS for the USPS API tools.

It’s hard to tell without the exact details about plugin settings, order, and what USPS returned for the request. Could you gather the debug info:
    1. Enable the WooCommerce shipping debug mode: WooCommerce -> Settings -> Shipping -> Shipping options -> Enable debug mode.
    2. Go to the cart/checkout page with the order you are getting unexpected shipping options for.
    3. Look for the ‘Found X USPS rates’ notice on the top of the page and click ‘Copy’ there.
    4. Paste the copied details here.
    5. Disable the debug mode.

As for the commercial rates question, you’d better consult with USPS and the labels print service.
