• Just completed install of WP 3.6.1 and on the “Edit Page” and “Edit Pages” in the Publish, Page Attributes, Featured Image and Comments boxes all have the following warning message

Warning: call_user_func(post_comment_meta_box) [function.call-user-func]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback in /home/……/public_html/my domain name.com/wp-admin/includes/template.php on line 925

    Any ideas?

  • Potentially your theme is using deprecated code for the comments fields?

It had crossed my mind that could be related to the theme but it also appears with the “twenty twelve” and “twenty thirteen”. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Okay if it shows up in twentytwelve and twentythirteen it’s not a theme issue (at least if you’re using the most up-to-date versions of those themes).

That leaves plugins. Try disabling all your plugins and re-enable them one by one to help identify which plug may be causing the issue. Once you’ve identified the plugin, contact the developers and let them know so they can fix it if possible.

If it’s not that, gather as much information about your WordPress installation (server specs, hosting specs, plugins, themes, etc.) and post that back here and we’ll see what else might be behind the issue.

I appreciate your help. I had disabled all the plugins one by one and nothing changed, so I then went and did a re-install from the online version of wp 3.6.1 instead of the manual upload and install that I usually do and all is working fine.

In the past few of versions there has be some glitch with the download and manual install process; I’ve had other issues crop up with the manual upload/install that was fixed with a re-install. Lesson learned!

    Appreciate you help
