• There is a paragraph break before the sentence that begins “But please…”

Note the “Back to index” is also not displaying as a new paragraph.

I switched the order of the questions, and indeed any question that is listed first gets the paragraph tags stripped out.

I am using the stock WordPress theme “Sketch”.

Otherwise, excellent FAQ plugin! Nice and clean and simple and blends right into the theme.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

There is no difference in the first faq and the others when they appear on listing side. I am not sure about the problem you are having. Please try disabling other plugins you are using on your installation and make sure that no other plugin is interrupting and causing this issue.

You also need to make sure that you are using the visual editor on the backend instead of the text one. Because I can not see any paragraph tag being generated in the first FAQ.

If you look at the link I provided, you’ll see the “Back to Index” link after the first answer is not a separate paragraph break like the others. It’s right after the end of the answer.

There also should be a paragraph break in the answer, yet it is all displayed as one solid block of text. The line that begins “But please…” in the first answer should be a new paragraph but it is not.

I do not have any other plugins that would affect the page display, they are all admin plugins (Jetpack, bot blockers, database backups, seo, etc). I am using a WordPress theme (Sketch) without modification. I set this up using the shortcode in the visual editor (the new “block” editor).

    Thank you.
