I updated Wordfence to 6.1. After the update, I clicked on config firewall as prompted. I walked through all the screens. Wordfence was able to update my .htaccess file. After several minutes it still did not register the change, so I added it to my PHP.ini as well. However Wordfence continues to prompt me to configure the firewall. It has been almost 18 hours since I configured it and I still get this message. I have verified my .htaccess on the server has the firewall change you made and I have also verified it exists in my .user.ini file.

I found a fix that works for my server configuration. The code that Wordfence adds to the htaccess was enclosed in an IfModule statement. When I removed that IfModule statement so it was just php_value then it works.
