Firewall optimization path modified but something is not ok?

    Hi,
    some time ago I talked with @gerroald because I had a problem with the Firewall optimization.
    I’ve done part of what Gerroald suggested because I couldn’t find the item “Optimize the Wordfence Firewall” in my site. Despite this, the assistance of SiteGround wrote to me that “the setup of the firewall is correct”.
    Since I couldn’t complete the procedure indicated by Gerroald, could you control if the optimisation has been done correctly? Or could you say me how I can control?

  • Hey @thebigbang,

    Were you able to navigate to Wordfence > Firewall > All Firewall Options. Click the Optimize the Wordfence Firewall and then click the dropdown box and select Manual Configuration at the bottom, then continue?

    Hi Gerroald,
    thanks for the answer. I don’t find Optimize the Wordfence Firewall. After clicking All Firewall Options, a page with a lot of items is opened, but there isn’t the option Optimize the Wordfence Firewall.
    I can send you by email the screenshots of what I see if you want and it can help you.

    I believe I misunderstood the issues. The Firewall is optimizing, just not to 100%. Can you take a look through the article below to make sure you have all the needed features enabled to reach 100%?

    Hi Gerroald,
    I think that all the things indicated in the link you sent me are already set up by default. Obviously the PRO features aren’t set up because I use the free version of the plugin.
    I don’t know if I’ve to modify some particular item to improve the functioning.

    It seems you do have it configured as much as you can with the free version. You’ll need to the Pro version to reach 100% Optimization.
