    Hi,

We’ve noticed today that several of our websites started disconnecting with ManageWP.

Looking into the issue, it seems like turning off the firewall seems to stop this from happening.

We have been using this plugin for a very long time and have never had a problem like this so we are confused as to why its suddenly an issue. The problem is not isolated to a single host either.

We’ve contacted ManageWP about this and I thought I would just reach out here to see if anyone else is experiencing this.

Do you have any idea as to why this has now suddenly become an issue?

    Thanks
    SWS

Hi, did you update any plugins or theme? I also use ManageWP and this plugin without any issues.

    Hi,

So I have logged into ManageWP this morning and behold, websites are connecting ok again which has me extremely puzzled.

At the time of the issue, it seemed like adding their IP’s to the white-list section rectified the problem but using that also blocks customers logging in.

As far as I am aware, the plugin was updated a month ago and we normally push updates through quickly so that rules out plugin updates.
The problem was across different themes so that rules that out too.

ManageWP have just replied and are asking me to white-list them within the plugin. As far as I am aware, this is not possible without blocking all but those IP’s?

Do you have to do anything like this?

    Thanks for your help,
    SWS

No, I did not have to white list there IP address. I have never had this problem with All In One….. I suspect some other conflict in your site or server. If I where you I would speak to your host first and ask them if they have made any changes to your server. You might also like to check your server log files to see if it reveals any issues related to this problem. You could also check the plugins log files as well.

Let me know how you go.

    Regards
