    Hello,

How to put the whole range of IPs from my ISP in “Allowlisted IP addresses that bypass all rules”? I have a site of my ISP where they show their IP addresses, but I can’t make it work. Can you give me an email where I can send a link for you to look at these IP ranges?

    I am using Wordfence free.

    Thank you.

    Best Regards

Hi @dialaster, thanks for getting in touch.

What is your ultimate goal for allowing all of your ISP’s IP addresses there? It’s not advisable to add IPs to “Allowlisted IP addresses that bypass all rules”, as they can bypass all Wordfence protection altogether. This would open up the possibility of anybody assigned an IP once used by your ISP to not being checked by Wordfence.

My general advice is that Wordfence does all of the important blocking for you automatically so you don’t have to implement a manual blocking regime – which can be time consuming to keep up with current IP ranges etc. The behavior or intent of the humans/bots making these requests is more important to Wordfence when making a decision on blocking.

If you’re experiencing frequent blocks as the admin, it’d be more advisable to look at Wordfence > All Options > General Wordfence Options > How does Wordfence get IPs to ensure your site is detecting actual visitor IPs as this can result in site-wide blocks for everybody when incorrect.

    Thanks,

    Peter.
