Firestorm listings return 404 error

    I installed and added a couple of listings to the plugin, and when I try to view the individual listing, it returns a 404 error.

    I’m finding other problems with the plugin, such as the way it displays the listings page. I’m assuming they have to do with conflicts with my theme. However, I don’t intend to use the listings page so these issues are irrelevant. I just need to be able to link to individual listings from my slideshow on my home page…

    Any help?

    Clicking on view listing on either property just returns a 404 error.

  • I fixed this by just going into my permalinks and updating them. They should be set on the last option, the post name one.

    I’m sorry, but I don’t see post name or permalink options on either the settings page or the add/edit listing page. Can you walk me through it?

    If you are on a admin account, go to the back-end > settings > permalinks and make sure the radio button selected is the “Post Name” option

    Figured it out. Weirdly, my permalinks were set correctly, but playing with them fixed the issue. However, now I have the formatting issues to deal with since the listings have the same formatting problems as the listings page.
