Recently when trying to log in to WP admin panel from Firefox browser I get “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

all extensions .com/wp-login.php, .com/wp-admin.php, .com/wp-admin lead to that error message.

IE 7 and 8 work fine.

I get this funky message too. After I reboot my machine, it works fine though… hope that helps!

I know I am a little late on this but thought it was relevant. I had this issue and it drove me nuts…I didnt have to reinstall Firefox…here’s what I did.

    Tools–> options –> Privacy Tab
Click on delete individual cookie (or all if you prefer)…find your site and delete it.

Then clear ALL your cache and viola…I am back into my site.

I’ve never had this issue personally but a friend is running into it and I’m trying to hunt down a solution.

It seems to me that if I try to login with “wp-admin” vs “wp-admin/” I get the error.

When I try “wp-admin”, I’m redirected to “wp-admin/?page=wp-admin” and then the error appears.

With wp-admin/ there’s no redirect and the login/dashboard works fine.
