• Ok, I’ve been playing with this for the last 3-4 days. Initially, I was ready to “officially” start posting but then I though, hey, lets see what it looks like in firefox… ugh. Anyway, i fixed some of the major issues. Now, my header image looks like its starting to repeat and my sidebar has some funk vertical bar running through it. I’ve changed nearly every variable in the sidebar css in my stylesheet, nothing is helping. Could you guys take a look: https://mayurpatel.org

  • What was the last plugin you added?

Nice thought, but I deactivated all plugins, no go. I got the header image from repeating. There is something going on with some wrap or margin or something. That vertical line makes it seem like there is some set boundary and as soon as it ends, it starts repeating. I hope that makes sense.

Well, just to update, I commented out the php sidebar call in my main template to get rid of the sidebar to see if the sidebar css or anything was causing it and its not. The vertical line still appears and I can’t figure out why. It looks pristine (to me anyway) in IE… ARRGGHH!

The vertical bar is due to the background image specified for the ‘outerwrap’ id. You’ll find this declared in the header of your theme (and not style.css).

Kafka, your posts in numerous other threads have helped me a great deal… this one is no different.

Problem solved, you are god, I am not worthy ;o)

    Always glad to help.

Keep in mind I’ve made arrangements with podz so that the moment I actually do start to consider myself to be a god at this, he’s to whack my account and block my ip. I figure that’ll teach me…
