Firefox Mobile issue

Hey guys,

I just noticed that when you click on the whatsapp icon on firefox mobile (android) it redirects you to api.whatsapp.com displaying the button to continue to the chat, so when you click on that button you would expect it to open the whatsapp app but instead it redirects you again to another place displaying a message saying that looks like whatsapp is not installed.

If you do the same process using google chrome on android, then it works as expected, it open the whatsapp app, so not sure why on Firefox it is not working.

I have not tried it other mobile browsers just to let you know.
