  • Hello @simonreading,

    Apologize for the inconvenience!

It seems like it is generating from a wrong css. Although it won’t affect the overall performance of the popup but I will make it as a warning instead of an error. Thanks for the feedback ??

Please do get back to me, in-case of any query.

    Regards,
    Syed

    Another quick update:

I’ve just found the exact same JS error on another website and can confirm that the message is not relevant. It’s a development output that we forgot to adjust in our previous release.

It’s not an actual error and has no impact on anything on your website.

As Syed mentioned, we’ll adjust that console output in the next release of the plugin.

This issue has come up after WP 5.7 update, where some button classes were deprecated.

Can you please update your code to reflect this change and deploy a new version of your plugin?

Here is an article which states the the old and new classes:

This error is breaking my ajax form. Please fix or provide a patch! I can not decipher this code.

    Hi @brian7997

I know that those [DiviAreas] Invalid CSS rule... messages look dangerous and give the impression that something is broken.

However, those are simple debugging messages generated by our plugin. We forgot to disable those debug messages in the last release and will fix that again in the coming update. However, these “errors” do not impact any functionality on your site – neither of Popups for Divi, nor with any other plugin.

Any problem with an Ajax form has a different source. In case you think that our plugin is related to that problem, feel free to open a new ticket with details about the form (which plugin, where you use the form, ideally also share a URL to a demo page)

    Thanks ?? Philipp
