Firefox Existing Users Log In fields problem

Update: changed stylesheet settings – everything works for Firefox except the default “No Float”.

This is more related to property definitions and compatibility between the plugin’s stylesheet and your theme’s stylesheet than it is a browser issue. While the included stylesheets have been designed to work in with a number of themes, that doesn’t mean they will work well with all themes. Obviously, you figured out that you can easily set a different stylesheet from the plugin’s admin. You do also have the option of creating/using a custom stylesheet.

Based on your description, it sounds like a theme issue – most likely padding in the input fields. As to whether I could reproduce it and alter the stylesheet, the answer is “it depends.” It would depend on the specific theme we are talking about, which one of the “no float” stylesheets it is, and what the changes would be.

I generally do not make changes to the stylesheets once they are released since this effects every user of that stylesheet. Look at it this way – a change to fix your issue might create a problem of other users of the same stylesheet, depending on their theme and setup. That is a primary reason that the plugin allows (and you are encouraged to use) a custom stylesheet.

I understand. As long the this is my Graphene theme issue and not a pure Firefox issue, this should be alright.

I am experiencing the same issue with Graphene Theme and the login fields for Firefox.

I don’t know where and how to edit the style sheets to avoid this problem.

Could you explain it, please?
