Firefox crash while editing

I get firefox crashes when using the WYSIWYG editor. The crash occurs when editing a bulleted (i.e. unordered) list. I can reproduce it by hitting return twice after a lengthy list item – this is not the only time it occurs, but the most reliable way of reproducing it.

It something specific to my Firefox settings and preferences – I do not get the same problem using another login on the same PC.

I have tried disabling all plugins, the crash still occurs.

I am at a loss as to what to try next to trouble shoot this. Any ideas?

I am using the Ubuntu build of FF 1.5.0.2 (that is what is in the Ubuntu repositories).
